Tahilalats and M.C.Bunny Are Shortlisted for The Stellar Award at Star Bridge Award 2026
Tahilalats and M.C.Bunny are the only two IPs representing Indonesia among the sixty works shortlisted for the first Star Bridge Award, the Asia-Pacific Creative IP Awards.
Tahilalats and M.C.Bunny have been shortlisted for The Stellar Award at Star Bridge Award 2026, the first edition of the Asia-Pacific Creative IP Awards organized by the Macao Youth Cultural and Creative Brands Industry Federation. Of the sixty works that made it through the first round of judging across all three tracks, these two are the only entries from Indonesia, and the award ceremony takes place on the afternoon of 23 October 2026 at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao.
Tahilalats was entered by Mindblowon Studio, the studio behind the comic, while M.C.Bunny was shortlisted under the title M.C.Bunny with HelloMotion listed as the entrant. Both IPs sit inside INFIA Corp's IP Character & Studios vertical, where characters are built to live with their fans long before they show up on a product or in a place.
The track built for IP with a track record
Star Bridge splits its open call into three tracks that never overlap, and every entrant has to pick one at the point of entry with no option to switch later. The Stellar Award is the track for established IP that already has real commercialization results, and the organizer's guidelines describe its winners as original projects that carry market validation and brand influence while still having room to keep developing. It is also the only track where an IP's social media reach and public data serve as a reference for the jury, so the relationship a character has built with its fans becomes part of what gets weighed.
Twenty works were shortlisted in each track, and the jury can present up to ten Stellar Awards, or fewer if it decides an entry falls short of the standard. The judging directions published for this edition look at originality, the completeness of a project's design and world, how recognizable and shareable a character is across media, and its commercial value, with the formal weightings set to be released through the organizer's official channels. The jury, whose final line-up is still to be announced, draws on people from across the IP business, from licensing specialists and brand representatives to creators and academics from design and art institutions.
